About Dr. Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is a prominent psychiatrist in the Riverside County region, with 20+ years of experience in the field of psychiatry and another 20 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Saigon and received his medical degree from the University of Saigon College of Medicine in the early-1970’s. Subsequently, he became Faculty of Medicine at the University of Saigon Hospital in Internal Medicine, where he worked until immigrating to the United States in 1990. During his time as an Internal Medicine physician in Saigon, he also headed his private clinic in Saigon, Vietnam, serving his local community as well as patients from multiple different regions of Southern Vietnam. 

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Nguyen regained his medical degree and went into the field of psychiatry, completing his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. Since then, Dr. Nguyen has been serving the community of Riverside County at multiple locations, including Patton State Hospital, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, California Correctional and Behavioral Services, and Riverside Mental Health. In 2007 Dr. Nguyen was voted Best Physician in the field of Neuropsychiatry.
